BIM Technician (Revit) – Contract – Remote Working

Location: Remote / Working from Home

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business during a period of continued growth as they support the Oil & Gas, Nuclear and Renewable Energy sectors. This role is remote working and is deemed to be outside IR35. The successful applicant must be a British passport holder and eligible to obtain Security Clearance.

Role & Responsibilities

• Fluent in Revit, Autocad and Navis Works – essential
• Ability to produce 3D CAD information in a BIM environment.
• Production of 2D drawings (layouts, arrangements, sections, elevations etc.) from the 3D model.
• Production of contractor’s installation drawings from the 3D model
• Capability across Mechanical disciplines including Building Services.
• Familiar with BIM, use of Common Data Environment (CDE) and QA systems.
• Familiar with working in a secure environment

Key Skills & Knowledge

• Generating piping models
• Proficiency with Revit software is essential.
• Chartered status preferred but not essential.
• Must have proven experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Nuclear, Renewable Energy sectors or similar.
