Client Process Engineer – Contract or Staff – Oxfordshire
Location: Oxfordshire
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing Client organization operating in the cleantech / novel energy sector, developing cutting edge green energy solutions to help create full circular economies. For a contract role this is deemed outside IR35.
Role & Responsibilities
- FEED verification – overseeing and co-ordinating deliverables of FEED contractor on a challenging new clean tech project.
- Ensuring design specifications of the main contractor and as per agreed company specifications and ensuring any amendments are incorporated in line with company / project requirements.
- Undertake work on client site as required, providing technical advice and operational support services.
- Support the develop the scope of work / basis of design for studies and projects.
- Checking the quality of FEED contractor/s design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications.
- Supporting the vendor management and selection process.
- Perform safety related calculations and provide input to safety reviews – What If, Hazop SIL Assessment, etc.
- Undertake short and long-term business travel in support of project.
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Must be Degree qualified.
- Chartered status highly advantageous though not essential.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, EfW or similar industry projects is essential.
- Previous site experience in conjunction with a design background beneficial.
- Planning and organising, communication, team working and problem solving.
- Good level of numeracy, literacy and IT knowledge.
